She describes her style as being cheerful, calm and reasoned, and prides herself on her dedication and loyalty to her clients.

Bernadine is an avid cook and loves to garden, although this love does not always translate into success (or living plants). She is a graduate of Lexington High School, the University of California at Berkeley, and UCLA Law School. Prior to moving back to Boston, Bernadine was a civil rights attorney in Los Angeles, and was the principal of her own law firm. Bernadine lives in Brookline with her husband, their three children aged 14, 11, and 9, two rescue dogs, and three rescue cats.
